I have installed 2 dayco(poly-cog style, supposedly exceeding oem) belts in the last 1 year, I thought it could have been a manufacturing defect, but not twice. the cogs come off in chunks sometimes all the way across a section sometimes 3 inchs long by 2 segments wide. I will never buy a dayco belt for as long as i live. its rather scary seeing a belt fragment in less than 6 months, especially considering the oem belt was on for over a year and a half (with 40k miles).
